Linda Chung Overcome By Nerves

7 August 2008

Star Entertainment held a special presentation event today to introduce the company's four new signings, who will all be releasing debut albums in the coming year. The four acts were revealed as Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣), Tina Chu (朱韻詩), Wai Hung (韋雄) and Red Noon.

At the event, the company also made an official signing gesture with Linda, who received support from TVB executive Virginia Lok (樂易玲) and Moonlight Resonance co-star Susanna Kwan (關菊英). Linda revealed that her hand was shaking during her performance because she spotted Virginia and Susanna in the audience and this made her extremely nervous.

Asked if she has consulted rumoured boyfriend Raymond Lam (林峯) for advice, she said that he is much more experienced than her, but he said that there is a difference between male and female singers and the most important thing is to stay calm and just enjoy the experience.

Linda's album will be released on 20 August and when she was asked whether or not she will be giving Raymond a copy, she smiled that he should show his support for her by buying ten copies.

Susanna praised Linda, saying that her voice is very good and although she was nervous, this is something that every newcomer must overcome. Asked how she felt about the great ratings being received by Moonlight, Susanna said that she was very happy and hopes that the show will keep its momentum and break through the 40 point mark.
