Juno Mak Suffers Hardships For His Art
28 August 2008
Juno Mak (麥浚龍) was busy filming the music video for his new song "Written Too Much" <寫得太多> this week. There are two versions of the video to tie in with the solo version of the song as well as the duet that he shares with the song's writer Anthony Lun (倫永亮).
Anthony appears with Juno in the duet version of the video and Juno revealed that he won the co-operation of the music grand master through sincerity and persistence. He was extremely thankful to Anthony for helping him out and sharing so much from his musical expertise.
For the solo video, Juno and model Janine had to endure land and water shoots in a marathon 33 hour shoot. Some of the locations included a deserted hospital, that was very atmospheric, but also extremely uncomfortable because of the lack of air-conditioning.
Juno and Janine then had to endure a six-hour shoot in a swimming pool for an underwater kiss scene that required assistance from divers to make sure that they were able to breathe whilst under surface.
After the shoot was completed, Juno was extremely pleased with the result and complimented his extremely professional and dedicated crew for their hard work. Despite falling ill after the gruelling feat, there was no rest for Juno as he immediately flew out to Japan for another filming engagement.
