Carina & Tony Head To Cannes

Carina Lau (劉嘉玲) and Tony Leung (梁朝偉) were spotted at Hong Kong International Airport yesterday as they headed out to France for a working holiday together at the Cannes Film Festival.

There have been rumours that Tony will be making announcements of their wedding plans on the red carpet at Cannes. However, when they were asked about this, Tony said that this is a serious affair and should not be treated like an acting performance.

Asked about how much they had donated towards the Sichuan Earthquake relief efforts, Tony replied that he and Carina had both made donations, but the amount is not as important as the thought.

As for whether or not he plans to take part in any fundraising productions, Tony said that he would do his part to help the victims, but this is nothing in comparison to the doctors and emergency workers on the front line.
